F1 Circus Special is the third episode of the series of
popular top-down racing games by Nihon Bussan
(the first two games are avialble on HuCards).
As the F1 Ciscus tradition wants it, the race is
displayed using a fast and smooth top-down persperctive.
This version also comes with a
lot of options, tracks and customizable cars.

First of all, I think the F1 Circus series is ace.
I was a bit skeptical at first, I mean, a top view racing game ? what ?
But F1 Circus proved to be a frenetic affair
and a 'fast and furious' series of racers.
Nonetheless, F1 Circus Special doesn't really
add anything to the previous two games - it uses this time around
the Super CDRom technology with better graphics and more detailed scenery.
Sound effects and music tracks also sound much better.
All in all, F1 Circus Special still is the
best game of the three so if you don't already own any of the first
two HuCard games, maybe this one would be a good one to own.
